フェイスブックが２０１６年にスタートした女性起業家支援プログラム「 #Shemeansbusiness 」の日本向けプログラム「 #起業女子 」の１周年イベントが開催された。
パネルディスカッションでは、６０歳からパソコンをはじめ、８１歳で高齢者向けアプリを開発した特定非営利活動法人ブロードバンドスクール協会の若宮正子理事、中学２年生で起業し、現在２社目の起業を進めているHand-C の仁禮彩香社長が講演した。
女性起業家をとりまく状況の変化について、若宮氏は「自分が若い頃、女性は質的評価より量的評価がされるだけだった。それが変化してきたことを感じる。政府の会議に出席した時、総理大臣が自分でペットボトルのお茶を飲んでいるのを見て、女性の仕事だった『お茶くみ』も必要なくなったなと実感した」とユーモアを交えて話した・・・
