Just for fun I created a Shavian QWERTY keyboard map for #FreeBSD.
The hard part turned out to be that I had to work from pictures of layout diagrams, and tiny ones at that, cross-referencing them by eye against a Unicode chart. No-one has a text list of what Shavian alphabet characters go with what keys.
I named it gb-shaw, of course.
Este interesante bideo de ‘RobWords’ muestra al alfabeto tsabiano (‘ #ShavianAlphabet ’), ke es un sistema de eskritura alternatibo para el idioma inglés, más efisiente porke está adaptado a su fonolojía. La inisiatiba fue de ‘Bernard Shaw’, de aí el nombre.
Una idea muy interesante de este alfabeto es el uso de un punto medio [•] para indikar ke la palabra es un nombre propio, lo ke permite presindir de las mayúskulas.
This is interesting, I've never heard of the Shavian alphabet before but it sounds fascinating.
