Very depressed about the #ShamimaBagum ruling. As far as I can work out the court held that there were no good reasons to strip her of citizenship, but the court doesn't have the authority to overrule the Home Secretary.

This goes back to the supreme court ruling. It means that Begum continues to suffer and that the courts have decided that the government can do no wrong (at least on issues of citizenship and national security). That is quite a scary outcome
