Added a needle positioner. Now the needle always stops down, for easier and more accurate turns. A quick heel press on the pedel lifts the needle up. #MYOG #sewists #backpacking #ultralight

Random question for #sewists out there. I see a lot of outdoor-wear jackets (rain jackets, wind jackets, etc.) which talk about having "taped seams", and I am curious what the technical name for the tape used for seam sealing is?

this is my 24-hr outfit challenge for yesterday's concert. it's made of deadstock fabric on clearance at $1.37/yard. I didn't have time to clean it up, some top stitches to be redone but I was already able to wear it out so that's a win.
