Gonna cut the pieces out for it, and the interfacing. Then have a cuppa to fortify myself.

The green jacquard is going to become a fancy dress vest. The cream paisley is going to become a set of stays.
And the tan habotai is for linings.
I'm so excited and also nervous.
I'm well pleased with how this shirt came out! The sleeves especially with that button tab and the length is my fav sleeve length.
Next up I'm gonna make it in white, and then black, and then offwhite, and then green, and then...
I might edit the neck a smidge, go a tad deeper and round the bottom vs the sharp point which I always struggle to do neatly. But that's such a simple fix.
I'm sewing a linen shirt for myself with french seams right now and besties... I feel fancy AF rofl.
The finished cloak, and my Hobbit witch fit from last night.
At some point I'll have the spoons to go take some proper photos of the cloak. But it was great yesterday, perfect amount of warm without overheating.
My transformation into a Hobbit continues apace.

With the Mave skirt finished it's time to tidy the sewing area to prepare for the next thing, whatever it winds up being.
It's a part of the process that is hugely important for success. That resetting in between, rather than just cramming onto the next thing.

The top size for most patterns is 18. All of them include "size inclusive" in the title/SEO
I'm so fucking mad. Not only is that fatphobic as fuck... Her stupid fascist ass is making it harder for people to actually find patterns that fit.
Searching plus size patterns and finding stuff that stops at at 44" chest (being listed as plus or inclusive) is so harmful.
