This is my city. Sergels Torg is generally considered THE centre of Stockholm.

To the left, one of the the entrances to the subway, station T-Centralen. The exit leads out to the plaza with it’s iconic triangle pattern. The tallest building is one of five pretty much identical buildings placed like dominoes in a line behind this one. The offices of the company I work for is located in the next one behind this.

The tall monument is largely made of glass and it can be lit up as needed. The base around it is a shallow pool of water with an array of decorative fountains. (It was empty when I took the reference photo.)

Ur & Penn is a chain selling watches and jewlerey. They have been running this campaign for probably 30 years now – with clearance sales, going-out-of-business sales, and always “up to 70% off”. It has become a running joke at this point.

Mäktig manifestation för #Ukraina på #SergelsTorg ikväll.

Tack alla som engagerar sig; som köper gamla svenska ambulanser och kör dem till fronten, levererar sjukvårdsprylar och lär ut minröjning, som hjälper hem- och föräldralösa barn.

Nu måste vi sätta hårdare press på Ryssland, och säga ifrån tydligare när Trump kommer dragandes med sin tolkning av fred. Kriget måste få ett slut, Ukraina bli fritt.
