Today was the real start of my semester at UOW. I had a meeting with disability support to get everything in place, since I officially began yesterday. My first tutorial is at 3:30 this afternoon, followed by a lecture straight after. It feels good to be settling in and starting to find my rhythm.

I also contacted HumanWare about my Brailliant Braille display, which has been giving me some issues. Thankfully, it’s still under warranty, so I’ll be sending it off for repairs tomorrow. Fingers crossed it comes back in good shape!

Tonight’s dinner is chicken schnitzel with mashed potatoes and veggies, prepared by my husband, who is an absolutely brilliant cook. I feel very lucky.

I realized last night when my humidifier kicks in it sounds just like a boiling kettle. Which has got to be some of the best incidental ASMR ever. What a lovely subconscious message:
