#OpenAccess: This research traces how the network of ordinary municipal drains (nullahs) in Northeast Delhi became a “trauma trove” in the aftermath of the 2020 #DelhiPogrom in #India. Drawing on 3 years of #SensoryEthnography, it conceptualizes the nullah as a "trauma trove" of residual violence, showing how #rumor and speculation generate a plausibility (and possibility) of violence in the future.
