The biggest issue I have with Sengoku Youko 2nd Season is that, because of the pace at which the series jumps between plot points, it's hard to get invested in anything. There's a lot of setup and basically no payoff.

The best part of Sengoku Youko 2nd Season was Tsukiko. I don't like her as much as I liked Shakugan in the 1st season, but she's still cute, so there's that.

Unfortunately, Sengoku Youko 2nd Season didn't live up to my expectations by being better than the 1st season. It didn't really improve upon anything and suffered from the same flaws, like pacing issues.
