Interesting to see how this same effect is playing out in the English local elections and Scottish/Welsh national elections this May. Increasingly, the idea of any election being seen through and island-wide prism seems fraught with difficulty as the national polities diverge. #Senedd26 #Holyrood26

Lijstduwer - Wikipedia. It might be interesting to try 'list pushers' in the Senedd elections in Wales. Perhaps there is a particular Welsh term that might be applied or created.

Our Newport Green Party action day went well. Ten brave volunteers set off in pouring rain to leaflet Shaftesbury ward. We were joined by Young Greens,Gwent Party members and local Newport vols. Also David Mayer our Malpas Ward councillor.
Afterwards we met at Sip in Newport market for a hot drink and debrief. A great chance to get to know each other better.Altogether a good day

Today is the first action day I've organised for Newport Green Party. I'm expecting about 10 volunteers to deliver leaflets in Shaftesbury ward.
Checklist:
Leaflets bundled into routes
Wooden spoons
List of vols
Meeting place organised for coffee afterwards
Wish us luck with the weather gods.

There’s an increasing and very welcome degree of analysis of Welsh politics and the looming #Senedd26 election out there. We’re trying to fill the niche niche of combative analysis here, it’s very un-Welsh because there are no punches pulled. Have a listen and feed back! 👇 #wales #cymru

… and a vindication of Plaid Cymru’s strategy to push ‘independence’ off into the future as an aspiration rather than a near-term ambition. Essential for their current coalition to keep it warm but not hot. #Senedd26 #Wales #Cymru
