Susan Gott’s glass studio and workshop, Phoenix Studio and Gott Glass Gallery, is in the neighborhood, and Anitra and I had been meaning to do one of the workshops there for some time. We got around to it in January 2023, but I never got around to posting the photos until now:

Playwright Anna Deavere Smith’s stunning one-woman play, Twilight, Los Angeles, 1992, recounts that time from 27 different perspectives. Jobsite’s Andresia Moseley takes on the challenge of portraying 27 characters to capture what BroadwayWorld called the “cacophony of voices at the city’s heart” following the King trial’s verdict.

Top of her list is forcing Paul to rewrite his latest novel, in which he killed off Annie’s favorite character, Misery Chastain. Stephen King’s 1987 novel was turned into a hit 1990 film with a script by William Goldman, who here adapts the material into an entertainingly tense 90-minute presentation.
