We are looking for a postdoc or junior researcher with interests in linguistics and computational humanities to join us in a project studying the metalanguage of English linguistics in the 16th to 18th century. This is a one-year research position based in Milan, Italy. My recent word interest has been, “research.” I think it’s fascinating that crunchy cult moms watching YouTube videos and clinicians doing peer-reviewed studies both use the same word. I was just about to email someone with a 'sketchy plan'. But then remembered my son uses sketchy to mean shady/dodgy (an Americanism?).
