In fact those are quite common. The real issue here is #Secrecy and #MixedMessages neither of which will shore up our trust in the knowledge that the people in charge know what they’re freeking doing. Don’t get your hopes up. Without access to classified information (for national security reasons as well as political — read Cabinet papers — reasons) the Community Commission will be dismissed as uninformed and proletarian drivel by main stream media (aka #Murdocracy, #StokesMedia, etc.) and decision-makers alike.
Still, stoking the fires of community angst against #secrecy and #politicalObfuscation is not a bad thing at all. #AUKUS ought to be part of the #PublicDebate and the powers that be ought to be held #Accountable for their decisions. Public horse trading for decent social services and the welfare of our environment is worth every battle we enjoin.
