I’m halfway through a two-part commission for a new collector. This first panel is built from the finished edges of roughly 300 garments from my own collection. The second panel will be all denim, supplied by the client.

Just before September ends, I'd like y'all to know that I managed to feed my horizontal stripes addiction with two thrifted items this month.
Each of these stacked clothing sculptures was created in direct response to a painting by my dear friend Kelly Reemtsen. Together, they form a visual conversation—each echoing the other in unexpected ways.
Our collaborative show, Gathering Threads, opens this Saturday, May 10th at noon at Galleri Oxholm in Køge, Denmark.
