It’s so fascinating to see the dramatic effect seasonal affective disorder has on me. Living in Reykjavik, as soon as November hits, I have a drastic drop in mood, and as soon as March rolls around, it’s a drastic improvement. It’s not new, I had it my entire adult life in Canada, but it’s just so much more obvious here with the exponential decrease and following increase in daylight.
Anyway, I’m currently celebrating the return of the light 🥳🌄
sidenote: Please no unsolicited questions or snark about why I chose to live in Iceland when I have SAD. I factored it into my choice. Or suggestions to take vitamin D or use a sun lamp. I do those already. They make it easier! So does hygge/huggulegt. ☺️ Happy to discuss otherwise.
