It’s another exciting week of almost there but not quite new Doctor Who and as such the BBC released a new trailer for Season 2 mere moments before we released last week’s episode, as befits the tenor of our times. We also go into detail on a since-expunged German Disney+ Season 2 trailer with new footage, actor Freddie Fox, reflections on criminal behaviour when Rose leaked 20 years ago, and most importantly, new Doctors Who in Little People form the good folk at Fisher Price. Sad news this week as we mark the passing of both novelist David A McIntee and fellow podcaster Siobahn Gallichan, and we extend our sympathies to their loved ones at a difficult time. There’s also news of Season 7 coming to the Doctor Who Collection Blu-ray series, the lead up to Doctor Who Christmas Week (culminating in “Joy To The World” on Christmas Day), extended badinage about a mail order Dalek model kit that extends over the next decade(!), Tom Baker’s Xmas message, and an interview previewing “The War Games in Colour” with Mark Ayres and Kieran Highman!

I also plan to do this #season25 on my #reMarkable (I have the colour one now which, crucially, has a backlight). Much as I prefer writing on paper, this lets me write in dim winter months, and also it's much easier to publish my progress, which I'd like to do. I did a lot of #dungeon23 blog posts but each one was a pain as it needed me to scan my notebook, and eventually I gave up.

Writing digitally also lets me draw maps then annotate them in a different layer.

For next year's project I'm thinking of a mix of #dungeon23 and #hex24, which I'm tentatively calling #season25; I have a plan to divide it into four based on the season I'm writing bits in.

A days work will be a location, which could be a journey, a place that doesn't need much elaboration, a particular shop or tavern, down to a room in a "dungeon" (or other discrete site).

A season is 13 weeks and has an overall theme which should keep me going even if I do various different things in it.
