The coast of Asturias in northern Spain is breathtakingly diverse—from smooth, soft cobblestone stretches to magnificently rugged cliffs where the sea crashes against the rocks. During the LandscapePhotography workshop with DutchPhotoAcademy.nl and Ellen van den Doel, we came face-to-face with an impressive piece of rock.

Cloudy spectacle.

Another version of the sun playing with clouds. It's so hard to convey the sheer size, and dynamic range in a photo. I love the rays shining through the clouds and the tiny people on the beach to give the scene some scale.

I really liked watched the big waves rolling in slowly and steadily towards this beach at Fort Bragg in coastal Northern California. Fun fact: it's called Morning Beach, and I made an evening photo of it (such a rebel, I know).
