AlexHere's something that's worth noting: During one of @SeaGL 's #SeaGL2023 #TeaGL breaks, someone was talking about setting up as a freelance Linux sysadmin. After discussions of gig work platforms and growing one's contracts through "the homie network," I piped up and mentioned that with a library card, this person would have access to databases like Mergent Intellect and DemographicsNow to see where there are likely to be people that need those services. They didn't know what they had access to.
And now, something that is related to #SeaGL2023 that I did this past weekend: A selfie with Patch, the mascot of the conference. (Or one of the various Patches scattered around. There were a fair few of them.)
Taste of India was not the best part of #SeaGL2023 but only getting there once was the worst part of #SeaGL this year :)
Luckily they gave me a cup of "The Chai" to go, so breakfast will be amazing
It is the day after, and the dust is settling.
