Attention anyone running #Scrivener on #Linux via #Wine.

The YouTuber "Linux Author" has put together an (unauthorized) flatpak that automates the process so that you don't have to touch the Terminal or go through Lutris. And he's looking for beta testers!

You can find the project on GitHub here:

And there's a discussion thread here:

I've signed up for an online workshop by Literature and Latte titled "The Fantasy Writer's Guide to Worldbuilding in Scrivener". I am curious what I will learn there.

Have I mentioned recently how good Scrivener 3 for Mac is?

It's remarkable that the developer was an author who couldn't find writing software they liked, so they decided to learn Mac development and write their own.

Last time I checked, they hadn't written their novel. They did make the preferred writing software for a lot of people across many sectors.

@Smootnyclown

Podbijam poszukiwania, tylko #Scrivener trzyma mnie na Windowsie, niby działa przez Lutris, ale oczekuję stabilności.

Ktoś coś?

Poszukuje jakiejś apki (web/android) do pisania w sensie planowania treści, tworzenia, organizowania projektu etc. Myślałem o wykorzystaniu do tego obsidiana, ale trochę brakuje mi w nim możliwości organizowania plików w formie drzewka. W sumie to szukam czegoś w stylu #Scrivener, ale wolalbym #foss. Ktoś cos?

The remaining issues are:

- the path to Documents is all messed up
- there's a hideous blue Windows menu bar at the top (shudder)
