Gibt es (hier) eigentlich noch Menschen die Screensaver benutzen?
Und wenn es nur die Windoof Bilderwechsel-Funktion ist.
Hatte vor langer Zeit mal aus ein paar Tourneefotos extra Screensaverbilder präpariert und stelle gerade fest besagte Funktion schon *ewig* nicht mehr benutzt zu haben. 🤔

I am now onto my 3rd screensaver on XScreensaver. I started out with Scooter, but eventually got tired of it, and moved to Abstractile for about a month, until yesterday, when I switched to BinaryRing. All 3 of them are pretty cool screensavers. I am able to get screenshots while in screensaver mode, which is how I got these 3 images. As long as I don't move the mouse or click anything, the screensaver will remain active. I also softlocked myself today by accident, double clicking the screensaver option, then the screensaver literally would not go away (I could still use programs by keyboard shortcut only, but couldn't see what they were doing) and I had to hard power cycle my system to fix it. (The Scooter screenshot I took isn't very good, it looks much better when animated)

Each time my computer goes to sleep the windows change their size. Sometimes they appear bigger, but most of the time, they are smaller. It's hard to tell by how much. Maybe a "titlebar"

Was wondering what the hell keeps my #Tahoe-equipped work-#Mac running so hot all the time.

It turned out that it's the #screensaver. Nearly 50% CPU load constantly. What the hell. PongSaver surely ain't a supercomputing application, goddamit!

So I had to let PongSaver go. Sob. I've been using it for… what? 20 years?

I still ofc have it installed on my own machine. No issues on #Sequoia.

PongSaver is the bestest. I even dig the glitches.
