Cats LOVE to scratch bc it's simply Who they are/What they do. Personally I'm very much AGAINST #declawingcats simply to spare sofas. There ARE ways to Redirect our felines away from destroying furniture: try different Types of scratchposts ~ some are made of cardboard; others #sisal Last image clearly shows that CARDBOARD is preferred!
