Nick HubbleI wrote about Margot Bennett for SF Caledonia. Better known as a crime writer, she wrote two SF novels: The Long Way Back (1954) and The Furious Masters (1968). In the 1930s, she had been a communist who served with the British Medical Unit during the Spanish Civil War.

Being pretty much immobilised by hip and knee pain has its advantages - Iโve just written 8K words of โHatterโ in one sitting. Itโs now sitting at 46K-ish so is going to need major edits later, but it is nearly passed the cursed 40Ks mark where I usually have problems, so also yay.
