@pneumaculturist If only there was a neighbouring country to England & Wales where publicly owned water was a reality. This could be promoted to the people as an example of the advantages of public ownership - clean, fresh, tasty drinking water; clean rivers & lochs suitable for swimming and aquatic activities.
But no…no such examples exist. Oh well,…

Yesterday I noticed water seeping from our stopcock cover at the end of the drive. Thought I should let Scottish Water know, today there is a large hole at the end of the drive and the whole street has no water because it turns out the main was leaking and the one hour job the guys estimated looks like an all day one with 2 or 3 extra vans.
