The view across Glasgow from Cathkin Braes this morning. At high 192m, this is the highest point in Glasgow, and is known as Queen Mary's Seat. It's one of several locations across the city where Mary Queen of Scots supposedly watched as her troops lost the Battle of Langside on the 13th of May 1568, leading to her fleeing to England, and setting in motion the events which lead to her execution in 1587.
