THE FAR-RIGHT REFORM UK Ltd. party is hiring staff in England to write their 2026 Holyrood manifesto.

Unbelievably, Reform UK are predicted to pick up a number of Holyrood seats in May, with some polls suggesting the party could even come in second place in Scotland!

If it does it will be at the expense of both the Scottish branches of the Tory and Labour parties with the SNP and Scottish Greens expected to see their vote hold up or even increase.

It's the SNP's Conference this weekend and the party is in reflective mood after the drubbing at the UK election. The first session, closed to the media, allowed the delegates to speak directly to the leadership. Will they listen? They said they would but is Swinney and Forbes capable of generating the fire and inspiration needed to win in Scotland's GE in 2026. A hae ma doots!
