I listened to the first #BlackCountryNewRoad album last night, twice. #IsaacWood’s voice reminds me a bit of #ScottWalker. “Science Fair” is interesting. But I was surprised: this kind of album—spoken word, free jazz—should’ve been right up my alley, but it just didn’t grab me the way similar band #BlackMIDI did.
