Agi: Controsanremo: ornitorinchi abbandonati e dottoresse schiacciabrufoli
"The Wolf of Wall Street", ultimo vero capolavoro di Scorsese, su Rai 3. Su Rete 4 addirittura "I dieci comandamenti".
Against Sanremo: abandoned dolphins and crushing-bruise doctors
AGI - Tonight, on the final night, heavy artillery is fired at the movies. “The Wolf of Wall Street,” Scorsese’s last true masterpiece, is on Rai 3. “Welcome to the South” is on Canale 5, and some numbers will have made a difference. Italia 1 proposes a perfidious Sonic movie, a potential source of family dramas if the children intercept it with zapping. On Rai Movie there’s “The Longest Day.” On Rete 4, even “The Ten Commandments.” But, as always, Cine34 prevails hands down with “Where Do You Go Naked?”, a star cast consisting of Tomas Milian, Maria Grazia Buccella, and Gastone Moschin.
One remains longer than expected on Rai 5 with “Six Characters in Search of an Author,” interpreted by Eros Pagni because theatrical times detach you from television times and don’t let you go for a while. You jump with the abrupt leaps into the splatter reality shows of Real Time, which presents us with Doctor Schiacciabrufoli, who this time deals with the serpentine scars on the ear of Mr. Robert. I would never remove serpentine scars, they could be an esoteric sign.
Dragon Ball Super is not part of the Canon, so it's discarded. It's inevitable to watch documentaries about animals. On K2 Robert tries to save an abandoned platypus. I don’t believe it’s the same Robert undergoing treatment from Doctor Schiacciabrufoli. Frisbee wins everything with the definitive format: “My Cat is on the Tree.” This time Shaun goes to La Conner to save Play-Play, whose owner anxiously watches 20 meters below. I give up.

Watched this once on tv in the 1980s and was mesmerised by this chaotic nighttime tale. Always thought this was Scorsese having a valiant go at Buñuel surrealism. Finally watched the 4K restoration at the cinema. I still like it a lot, Griffin Dunne's transformation is superb, as are the nervous cinematography and editing. But I think it has become slightly lightweight after seeing so many great and weird Old New York films that dig deeper into the city's old and dark mysteries. As a farcical Noo Yawk Ulysses full of strange women, it still works wonders and remains consistently

As hard as it may be to believe, some of us have never seen a movie belonging to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If you're one of those uninitiated, none of the countless clips incorporated into the Like Stories of Old video essay above will tempt you to get initiated.
