Glaciers are just so amazing! We can't help but be drawn to those huge masses of ice as they make their way down the valley. It's really sad to see how quickly they're melting, and it's heartbreaking to think of another part of our ecosystems disappearing.

This summer we climbed Piz Julier, which is almost always covered in clouds. But we had a lucky day and a magnificent panoramic view awaited us at the summit, which almost knocked our socks off.

Sometimes it looks more complicated than it is.

On this hike I had to take a deep breath before we tackled this scree slope. The path alternated between coarse boulders & fine scree. But after a few meters of climbing I felt much more confident & on the descent - as so often - it was as if I had never done anything else. 😄

Sometimes it helps to put your thoughts aside & just do it.
