For #SchiffSamstag here's an Evergreen container ship being loaded after sunset in the port of Callao, Lima last month just as we were starting to head off on our cruise. Absolutely fascinating to see the cranes lifting, moving, lowering, and locking the containers into position.

So beeindruckend das Wetter bei der Überfahrt auch war, der Nachwuchs wünscht sich für die Rückfahrt im Mittwoch "ruhige" See... 🤢

Und auch ich muss zugeben, Wölfe in grün ist so gar nicht mein Ding. Hoffen wir auf die Gunst der Götter des Wetters und der See.

🇫🇷 Le Rhin en direction des "Sieben Gebirge" dans la région de Bonn à une trentaine de kilomètres de ce point de vue du Hahn, un ancien lieu celtique à Bad-Breisig. Il y avait peu de navigation ce jour-là sur le Rhin, nous étions encore en pleine pandémie de COVID.

🇬🇧 The Rhine looking towards the "Sieben Gebirge" (Seven Mountains) in the Bonn area ca. 30 km from this point of view of the "Hahn", an ancient Celtic place in Bad-Breisig. There was not much traffic on the Rhine, we were still in the middle of the COVID pandemic.
