"Who's The Scatman" von Jeff Chi erschien schon vor einigen Jahren, nun hatte ich mir den damals hochgelobten #Comic über das Leben des Musikers hinter dem bekannten Hit der 1990er auch mal geholt.

Die #GraphicNovel verfolgt den Werdegang des Mannes, der von Kindheit an durch sein Stottern benachteiligt war und sich trotzdem durchgebissen hat, bis er schließlich endlich seinen Durchbruch feiern konnte. Und damit auch anderen half, die unter Stottern leiden.
Eine interessante, wenn auch nicht unbedingt spannende Lektüre. Wie interessant, das hängt sicher sehr vom persönlichen Bezug zum Thema ab - ob nun zum Stottern oder zur Musik. Ich fands ganz gut, aber kein Muss. Der Stil hat etwas künstlerisch-krakeliges, aber das passt gut zur Geschichte. #Scatman
