Apologies for social silence of late: too busy with stuff and health stuff and other stuff and so forth … stuff it. 😬🙄😂
Recent news about the new cross-border bridge has prompted me to pop up and suggest that this is a ***FAB*** opportunity for #Canada to assert our #Arctic #Sovereignty by producing our first-ever #ScandiNoir series set on OUR bridge!
#ColmFeori for the lead detective, perhaps?

Faceless Killers (Swedish: Mördare utan ansikte) is a 1991 crime novel by the Swedish writer Henning Mankell, and the first in his acclaimed Wallander series. The English translation by Steven T. Murray was published in 1997. - Wikipedia
The first Wallander and appropriately enough, my first. Tremendously enjoyed this Scandi noir and will read the rest of the series which I have on my shelves in the near future. In the process of following the solving of the brutal murders in this novel I have become far more familiar with the geography of Skåne County. Malmö is the only place I have visited in that area; I swam in the Öresund.
The real Scandi noir: how a filmmaker and a crooked lawyer shattered Denmark’s self-image.
The Black Swan follows a repentant master criminal as she sets up corrupt clients in front of hidden cameras.
A parade of people – members of motorcycle gangs, entrepreneurs, lawyers, real-estate barons, politicians – trooped through to recount their sins to Amira Smajic.
