ODROID-H5 single-board PC has Intel Core i3-N300, 10 GbE LAN, and four M.2 slots
The Hardkernel ODROID-H5 is a single-board computer with a low-power 8-core Intel Core i3-N300 Alder Lake-N processor, four M.2 slots with support for SSDs or other add-ons, a robust set of ports that includes a 10 Gigabit LAN connector.
Available now for $260, the ODROID-H5 isn’t necessarily an upgrade when compared with the previous-gen ODROID-H4 Ultra. Instead it offers some interesting […]

I first looked at small #SBC's, but with all the necessary peripherals they get expensive real fast.
While a refurbished HP T620 #ThinClient only costs around 50 EUR with all the things it needs to run and compatible connectors.
Android virtualization on single-board computers can seem complicated.
See how it’s addressed with Redroid, a lightweight #opensource solution that runs Android in containers with easy setup through Docker Compose.

Hi guys.
Have these chips on Orange Pi 5, but can’t find them neither in the schematic (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Wsp-Q7IyG0Ky_W-z1n5oXcFG4oqIbtOb/view) nor by the chip markings.
Those are tiny bga chips marked as D25DH 6QR73 or D3FEH 68S53.
They are located under the CPU, so must be related.
I also noticed that these same chips on the same model of Orange Pi have different markings but in a similar fashion.
Thanks a lot - as always.

Welp because I'm dumb and didn't understand the 5v power (orange pi) vs 5v microcontroller (uart cable, orange pi wanted 3.3), I'm fairly certain I fried my 16gb orange pi 5.
SBCs are pricey these days so that's a mega bummer. Anyone have any tricks or tips for attempting to breathe life into this thing?

Lately, I stumbled upon this picture from 2018, when 1GB of DDR3 was enough for a file sharing local server.
The Banana Pi BPI-M1 was great, with an ARM AllWinner A20 Dual-Core Cortex A7, better : it had SATA! No fans👍
It started to become unstable after 5 yrs approximately, running almost 24/7.
⚠️ The SSD drive is still in use, yet dying now, after over 10 yrs.
I wish low-power high-durability came back to fashion sometimes, maybe I'm a dreamer afterall.
