In #German, there's a #Saying that is about having to brush a hedgehog, "einen Igel zu bürsten." It's means having tedious work to do, or is an excuse to not show up to some gathering because of the alleged hedgehog to brush.

But in the region I grow up, there's a very different meaning to that.
Because, the term brushing (so, "bürsten" but with an sh-sound instead of the usual s-sound) can be used to describe…having sex.
Thus, brushing a hedgehog can be some fun.

There's a #German #Saying that is almost always translated with "thinking outside the box", and I think that's wrong because the saying literally goes "to look over one's own plate's edge."
