You can experiment with art without using a racist pile of linear algebra that is destroying the environment and local communities with their atrocious data centres. Let alone their use to kill children overseas or the fact that their datasets are stolen from all of humanity.
Creative experiments shouldn’t come at the cost of human lives or the planet we live on; just my perspective.

There are many recorded instances of harm caused by use of GenAI bots, from psychosis and suicidality to avoiding life saving medical treatment "because (the bot) told me".
On top of which, we know it atrophies critical thinking in a hurry.
