Things are moving so fast in #USpol that some of this is probably already out of date, but for those trying to keep up with the science and medical implications of the current US regime without being overwhelmed by the information firehose and with actionable advice I really recommend the #Sawbones podcast.

There has been a lot going on in the United States in the last few days that might affect what’s going on with health, medicine, and other sciences. Dr. Sydnee talks about the implications of all of these now and in the immediate future, and what we can do about it.
So, something I feel I need to recommend to people who enjoy medical history, like I do, if you haven't given the podcast #SawBones a listen to... Well, it comes highly recommended by me. It isn't just medical history, but they also talk about some of the current weird trends that pop up, like, I didn't know about Vampire Facials until today...
Or early train hysteria!
TIL that two of my mom's favorite things to say came from Alka-seltzer ads:
"Try it, you'll like it. So I tried it, thought I was gonna die" and "I can't believe I ate the whole thing". Thanks #sawbones

Celebrities have started some pretty weird fads, but perhaps none are weirder than the one started by King Louis XIV, who made it cool ... to have a fistula.
