Views this afternoon from #Savudrija #Salvore, the northwestern tip of #Istria ๐ญ๐ท: ships to, and from, #Koper ๐ธ๐ฎ and #Trieste ๐ฎ๐น are passing in front of the #Dolomites mountain range, which is about 100 kms away. Only the autumn months provide these views.

When holidaying in #Istria we always do a section, or two, of the #Parenzana trail, the old #Trieste ๐ฎ๐น and #Koper ๐ธ๐ฎ to #Poreฤ ๐ญ๐ท narrow gauge railway line, built during Habsburg times, and converted into a hiking and cycling route. Today: near #Croatiaโs western tip #Savudrija.
