As the article states, IUCN classifies honeybees as a species of least concern for conservation.
Managed honeybees are livestock.
I find it super interesting that the responses on the quiz question 1 is 50 % true, 50 false.
"Question 1: Save the bees! Our honeybees are endangered and going extinct!"
Answer False!
Beekeepers face many challenges, but the European honeybee, Apis mellifera, is not endangered. Rather, many wild bee species are under threat due to habitat loss, chemicalization of the environment, and climate change.
