Day 2 - once upon a time I just thought of bees as honey and bumbles. Then I became a bit more educated and learned about the importance of the solitary bee. This patchwork leaf cutter bee seems quite happy with that fact. The first year I watched the females filling up the ‘hotel rooms’ I thought it couldn’t get any more amazing.
