Do you remember Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR)? Of course you do—everybody knew them back in the day. They were my favorite, right around the time I was just old enough to start making those questionable decisions teenagers are known for. And boy, did I make them. I recall one particular incident involving Buckhorn Beer that I won’t go into—but trust me, it was stupid. At the time, I lived less than an hour south of Lodi, California, just off Highway 99.

Took a few days off and my Mom came to visit…and turn the first 2 days into outdoorsy extravaganzas! Day one was cycling along the #SavannahRiver Canal (and sometimes the river itself) followed by taking my 3-yr old niece to the pool where I carried her everywhere bc she refused to put her floaties on (that part not pictured - I was busy 🤣)
