The PlayStation version of the game is generally considered to be superior to the Saturn version, with higher resolution, better frame rate & controls.

But the Saturn version did feature an exclusive realistic water reflection & smoother Gouraud shading in certan areas of the game.

Some players have even said that they prefer the more "moody", darker, more atmospheric lighting of the Saturn version.
