For #Saturdoom this week I’ve got something a bit different, very #industrial but still very #doom. Yesterday the Redux albums from Nine Inch Nails were released where different artists released a cover in their own style. An immediate stand out for me was the version from #Closer by #German doom outfit #Daevar. They truly put their own spin on the song whilst still honouring the original.

I really enjoy the way the vocals work to put this version in another light whilst the rumbling sustained bass adds a bunch of groove that apparently was present all along.
