During the Last Great War between Rome & Persia, #Sassanid ruler #KhosrowII, who had conquered much Roman land, was deposed by his son Sheroe on #ThisDayInHistory in 628. That son then executed his father and brothers, gave back Byzantine lands for peace, & triggered a civil war.
