Through the Kitchen Window: Snow, Sassafras, and a Junco

A quiet February snowstorm brought a Dark-eyed Junco to the Sassafras tree outside my kitchen window. I photographed the moment through the glass, and while it took me a while to edit and post these, I’m finally sharing a few frames from that peaceful winter morning.

I think @danielbowen will appreciate this bus stop sign I spotted in Sassafras, with the old Met logo. The regular modern bus stop sign is nearby; I assume this older version was a kind of joint venture between the tea room and the transport authorities of the day.
