Today, a court in Moscow sentenced leading Russian rights defender Oleg Orlov, to 2.5 years in prison, on politically motivated charges of “discrediting” Russia’s armed forces in what was clearly a farcical trial. A dark and shameful day for #Russia https://t.co/C9JJXxul8f

Russian artist Aleksandra “Sasha” Skochilenko, has been sentenced to seven years in prison for replacing price tags with anti-war messages in a supermarket.

“The Russian army bombed an art school in Mariupol. Around 400 people were hiding inside,” read one of the 5 altered price tags.

Artists at Risk (AR) decries the extremely unjust sentence and stands in solidarity with Aleksandra Skochilenko.
