Intermission... Didn't see the meteoroid directly, but there was a definite flash in the sky. #SB57 #Sar2667. Too many trees in the forest and too far north for much more I suspect.

A new #meteorite has been found this afternoon in Normandie, France, as the collected first piece of the meter-sized asteroid #2023_CX1, also named #SAR2667, seen in space by amateur astronomers a few hours before it impacted the Earth atmosphere last monday. The search on place will continue with an int.al team among which a few reknown meteoricists, lead by the #FRIPON /#VigieCiel french group.
