APEDREAN OTRO ÓMNIBUS INTERPROVINCIAL DE PASAJEROS DE UNA MYPIME EN MENOS DE UNA SEMANA EN #CUBA

Otro ómnibus de la #Mypime PEDROCARR SRL fue apedreado la víspera en la Carretera de Vado del Yeso, en el tramo comprendido entre #LasTunas y #Bayamo.

Afortunadamente, no se reportan pasajeros ni trabajadores heridos, aunque el hecho genera una profunda preocupación por la seguridad de quienes utilizan este medio de #transporte.

Este ataque vandálico constituye el segundo en menos de una semana contra #ómnibus de la misma entidad privada.

Hace apenas cuatro días, otra guagua de PEDROCARR SRL, que cubría la ruta #SantiagoDeCuba–#LaHabana, fue también apedreada en la carretera de Contramaestre, en la provincia de Santiago de Cuba.

Estos hechos confirman que la delincuencia y el vandalismo continúan en aumento en las carreteras cubanas, poniendo en riesgo vidas humanas y afectando seriamente el transporte interprovincial.

Hurricane Melissa tore through Santiago de Cuba with winds over 120 mph — uprooting trees and flooding neighborhood.

Despite the destruction, no lives were lost thanks in part to Cuba’s Civil Defense system, which evacuated hundreds of thousands before landfall.
Now, as the city begins to clean up, people are helping each other rebuild — even as the country faces deep economic challenges.
