Fé e devoção: filme sobre Luzia Sousa abre programação de férias do CCVM

Iniciando as atividades do mês de julho, o Centro Cultural Vale Maranhão (CCVM) recebe, nesta terça-feira, 1º de julho, a exibição do curta-metragem Quem é Luzia Sousa, dirigido e produzido pela artista maranhense Maiara Astarte. O CCVM fica na rua Direita, nº 149, Centro Histórico de São Luís, e a programação é gratuita.

O documentário retrata a vida de Luzia Sousa, mulher maranhense de 99 anos que, após sobreviver a um grave acidente de carro, fez uma promessa a Santa Luzia. Desde então, organiza anualmente, no dia 13 de dezembro, um festejo em sua casa com orações, mingau, bolos e outros elementos marcantes da sua história de fé e superação.

Após a sessão, haverá uma roda de conversa com Mariana Astarte, com um diálogo sobre ancestralidade, tradições familiares e resistência no contexto do audiovisual.
