OK I'm actually planning a trip to the #ChannelIslands (off the coast of Santa Barbara)
I'm looking at #SantaCruzIsland definitely but there are two sides and trying to figure out if it would be silly to go two days in a row (day trips; I don't camp) for the two different sides.
There are two more islands I want to go to also: #Anacapa and #SantaRosaIsland
So I need to determine if 4 different day trips to islands (the ferry ranges from 1 1/4 hours to 2 1/2 hours each way depending on the island) over 5-6 days will get boring or if because I have books and love boats and islands and nature, it will be awesome. (I have to buy tickets ahead of time)
An injured hiker and three others were helicoptered off Santa Cruz Island on Saturday. County Fire Captain Scott Safechuck stated a group of three hikers came across a single hiker needing medical attention
