Dopo la vittoria del No al referendum sulla giustizia una cosa è certa: per anni sarà impossibile riformare uno dei poteri fondamentali dello stato. Un referendum che rappresenta la prima sconfitta del governo di Giorgia Meloni. Ma la politica qui c'entra poco, spiega Piero Sansonetti, ospite di Nicola Porro a Quarta Repubblica su Rete 4. "Io non sono molto preoccupato per il Governo, l'Anm è sempre stato un soggetto politico, ha condizionato i governi di destra e di sinistra, ha fatto cadere tutte le riforme della giustizia con Mastella, con Prodi...", osserva il direttore de l'Unità.
"Io sono preoccupato per la società", tira le somme Sansonetti che cita i dati di quanti arrestati - non indagati, si badi bene - e quindi finiti in carcere o ai domiciliari finiscono per essere dichiarati innocenti. "Sono mille all'anno". Quello dei giudici "è un potere spropositato di fronte al quale noi ci trovavamo, è l'unico potere che è in grado di levarmi la libertà e i soldi. Solo i magistrati possono farlo", è l'amara conclusione del giornalista.

Following the victory of No in the referendum on justice, one thing is certain: for years it will be impossible to reform one of the fundamental powers of the state. A referendum that represents the first defeat of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s government. But politics here has little to do with it, explains Piero Sansonetti, guest of Nicola Porro on Quarta Repubblica on Rete 4. “I’m not very worried about the Government; the Anm has always been a political subject, it has conditioned governments of the right and of the left, it brought down all judicial reforms with Mastella, with Prodi…”, observes the editor of *l’Unità*.
“I am concerned about society,” Sansonetti sums up, citing the data on how many people arrested – not investigated, note well – and therefore ending up in prison or under house arrest, end up being declared innocent. “It’s a thousand a year.” The judges’ “is a disproportionate power in the face of which we found ourselves, it’s the only power that can take away my freedom and my money. Only the magistrates can do that,” concludes the journalist, bitterly.
