Sangreal has a strange relationship with bread, half fascination and half disgust.

The fact that bread is made from a "goo" of small seeds crushed with added water, that it is leavened by the waste products of microorganisms (their "farts") and that these microorganisms are then all killed by cooking, makes this food disgusting to him.

At the same time, he is delighted by the smell of baked goods, can't understand why his human body starts salivating when he smells the fragrance of freshly baked goods, and he likes the taste of bread.

Sangreal has a very special pet... it's a Stylephorus chordatus, or tubefish (look it up! It's a hilarious creature) named... er... "Anxiety You Get When You Smell Ammonia in the Water," or "Ammonia" for short.

A very special little fish, wouldn't you agree?
